I eagerly await the release of their newest game, Mage's Initiation. The fact that AGDI managed to take one of the least good entries in the series and make it comparable to the best ones show that they are some of the best game designers out there. It is just as good as KQVI, but what's impressive is that it is not an original game built from the ground up to be awesome, it's a remake of a not-so-good game. For example, KQIV still uses a text parser, and KQV is very linear and has too many dead ends (It's nearly impossible to play without a guide).īut since we're allowed to talk about AGD Interactive, I'm gonna say that KQIII Redux is the best one. KQIV and V (My other two favorites) had their flaws. Awesome story, FMV, Character Portraits, Full Voice Cast, Josh Mendel, Multiple Endings, Intuitive Gameplay, The Debut of the Society of the Black Cloak, Awesome Puzzles, Guidebook to the Land of the Green Isles, Puzzles Based around Disney Movies, and so much more make this game the best in the series by a long shot. It is the epitome of good adventure game design. KQVI was my favorite of the Sierra-made ones.
